Junior Humane Society Day Camp 2018

Junior Humane Society Day Camp 2018

July 23rd-27th

For Children Entering Grades 4th-6th

The Humane Society of St. Joseph County is dedicated to the education of our community’s youth. Throughout the year we have visited dozens of students in local schools. Junior Humane Society offers a chance for a more one-on-one experience that will instill lifelong animal knowledge and compassion.

Junior Humane Society is a one week day camp that takes place from 9am-4pm Monday– Friday. Campers are asked to bring a bagged lunch and a drink, except for on the day of our field trip where pizza & drinks will be provided. A camp tee-shirt will also be given to each Jr. Humane camper.

There is $125.00 camp fee per child. This includes activity fees, snacks, a camp T-shirt and a pizza party.

Camp Activities Include:

  • Humane Officer presentation
  • Visit to Potawatomi Zoo
  • In-shelter animal handling
  • Special crafts; pet rocks and treats for local wildlife
