Donate

We impact the lives of more than 3,900 animals each year. As a nonprofit, we rely on private donations to provide these helpless, homeless animals with their second chance.

Your monetary donation not only helps with the daily care of homeless pets but also funds many educational and life saving programs offered by the Humane Society of St. Joseph County. By donating, you are providing adequate veterinary care to shelter pets, supporting our Pet Safe program, providing enrichment and behavior modification training for cast-off pets and furthering our mission to enhance the human-animal bond through the compassionate care of animals and community education.

Make a secure one time or monthly donation by clicking on the yellow “Donate” button.

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR PAWS FOR YOUR KIND DONATIONS!

Our community shelter was recently found to need our roof repaired.  As many of you know this is costly and so we need the community’s help to raise the needed funds.

Who does our roof provide shelter for at the Humane Society?  Our community shelter is home to over 3,900 animals a year who would otherwise be homeless.  Our community shelter houses a surgery center where 1000’s of surgeries are performed each year to help with the overpopulation of pets in Michiana.  Our community shelter provides employment to 40 employees who passionately care for each animal as if they were their own pet.  The Humane Society is a fundamental resource and it is pivotal that it has a safe and working roof to shelter these animals and caregivers.

Help us achieve our goal of “Rescuing the Roof”!
