As one of Indiana’s oldest service organizations, incorporated in 1886, we operate as the area’s largest animal care facility, with over 2,700 animals passing through our doors every year. Offering an array of community services and educational programs, the Humane Society of St. Joseph County aspires to enhance the human and animal bond and to live up to the motto, We Care!

We do not service calls for South Bend City residents. South Bend City residents can call South Bend Animal Resource Center at (574) 235-9303 for assistance.
