Due to COVID-19, we are restructuring Jr. Humane Camp this year to minimize exposure to our staff and to the children attending our day camp. Though COVID-19 cases may be declining, we still want to take every precaution to keep our staff and Jr. Humane Campers as safe as possible. Instead of a week-long camp, we will instead host 3 separate dates for camp throughout the summer, for kids aged 9 – 13 years old.
Only 10 CAMPERS will be allowed per day, and all campers will be required to wear face masks over their nose and mouth at all times.

Campers will learn about a variety of animal related topics such as:
- Proper animal handling and greeting animals
- Importance of spaying / neutering
- Wildlife
- Rabies & bite prevention
- And More!
Camp activities include:
- Demonstrations from our medical team
- Tour of shelter
- Crafts – making cat toys, dog treats
- Supervised hands-on time with shelter animals
- Demonstration from Foxwood Raptor & Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
- Make advertisements for shelter pets to help get them adopted
- And More!
Registration Fee: $40.00 per Camper
- Covers camp T-shirt, snacks, pizza party lunch, camp supplies, and a take-home binder with more material for continued animal education.
