11th Annual Humane Society Golf Classic

Welcome animal lovers and friends of the Humane Society of St. Joseph County. Dr. Ecker and I want to personally thank you for all your support over the past 10 years but also for making our 11th Annual Golf Classic a tail-wagging success! This premier event is a cornerstone in raising much needed funds to care for the thousands of animals that find safe haven at the shelter.

It is because of you and this event that we are able to fund a brand new program. A portion of your donations will go to fund our Warm Paws Helping Hands program. This program will match shelter pets to elderly, disabled, and special needs clients of Michiana who are lonely and in need of companionship by assessing their ability to care and love for a shelter pet. After a suitable client has been found, a Humane Society rep will match a shelter pet to the client. The client will receive that pet who has been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped, free of charge. We will conduct home visits with the clients and help them by providing food and matching them with a local veterinarian to continue the wholesome care of the animal. This program will not only find more loving homes for shelter pets but also enhance the human/animal bond between lonely individuals who are in need of the companionship of a shelter pet.

We can’t thank you enough for your support but please know we truly appreciate you!
