Emergency Surgery & 3 Dogs with Heartworm Disease…

Meet Porkchop, Capone, Mother Teresa, and Al. Each of these animals have needed medical care above and beyond the basic care each shelter pet receives.

The kitty Porkchop underwent emergency surgery on Mother’s Day to relieve a urinary blockage.

All three of the sweet pups pictured tested positive for heartworm disease and require treatment.

The Adoption Center is open for walk-in visitors from 2:00pm-4:30pm Monday-Saturday. Appointments are still strongly encouraged, especially if you are interested in adopting.
