Office Reopening- Appointments Highly Recommended

Effective May 24, 2021 our office will be open for walk-in visitors Monday-Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm. However, appointments are highly recommended. Office business includes stray animal intakes, reclaiming of lost pets, and issuing of pet licenses and permits. Those seeking to surrender an owned pet must have an appointment prior to arrival.

The Adoption Center will remain closed to walk-in visitors. Visitors wanting to see adoptable pets must have an approved application and appointment prior to arrival.

We will be following the CDC’s & St. Joseph County Health Department’s guidelines for masks which includes masks being worn by non-vaccinated staff, volunteers, and guests and highly recommending masks for fully vaccinated staff, volunteers, and guests.

The Adoption Center is open for walk-in visitors from 2:00pm-4:30pm Monday-Saturday. Appointments are still strongly encouraged, especially if you are interested in adopting.
